I had a burst of inspiration in editing today and surprised myself by completing my segment. There are still some technical things I need to clean up before I submit the final version, but the editing will likely stay the same.
It's a pretty simple video, but I hope you guys like it.

I enjoyed it, being a huge Fruits Basket fan. I was arguing with myself about wether or not I liked the opening effects, and I finally dedicied that it was in good taste. Awesome track! Just watch the lip flap.dj_ultima_the_great wrote:http://www.sendspace.com/file/xt26tr

I suggest taking a screenshot of the character's face, cropping it to only the mouth portion, saving it as a matte, and then setting a motion track to follow the character's face (if it is moving). Though I may be stating the obvious here.dj_ultima_the_great wrote:Ah, lip flap is my weakness. I'm still working on the best way to fix that in videos.

Ah, yes, I'm also going to need the extension >_>
I have had no extra room on my computer for a MONTH D:
*blames it all on her external harddrive shutting down and losing all that free space T_T and her secondary internal harddrive disappearing off the face of the earth ;_; *
I'm hoping to get at least 20 Gigs free to complete this @_@ *hopes it takes less than that*
Curse you limited harddrive space! DX

*Kev randomly popps out of nowhere*
I liked it, lol. There was something I felt like mentioning though since it was bothering me. And that were the Little Black borders all around the Video. Most Animes have those right off the DVD's. Either crop them in avisynth or directly in your Editing program to get rid of them ;p

Thanks for noticing (actually, a lot of the good Furuba videos on this site don't bother to get rid of those borders, so it's not surprising that you would mention it), but that was one of the things I had already noticed myself. When I edit, I usually just do the filters before I edit, and then do all of the cropping after I'm completely finished. Since my track hasn't been approved by u_queen yet, I was going to wait on cropping and resizing. No point in going the extra mile if she tells me I gotta change something. ;p

I really like it. I've updated the first post with your beta. It seems that everybody has pointed what I would tell you (just technical stuff). The clip shows a vey deep relationship (forget about Tohru, Yuki saved Kyodj_ultima_the_great wrote:Since my track hasn't been approved by u_queen yet, I was going to wait on cropping and resizing. Savvy despite of your HD problem I'll still send you the new caps ^o^
*EDIT*
That could be nice, as long everybody likes their usernames (I like mine of course ^_^).code_chrono wrote:BTW - Would you mind if I put the usernames of the editors into the intro as well?
