I´m afraid you have to capture them to get it on your hard drive....sayde wrote:heh. Good luck with that.Scott Green wrote:Now i will try extracting those real time files, though i don´t think it will work...
I still have to try!!!!!!!!!

@AMV_4000: Don´t know The Bouncer.....
FF8 is worn out
I´d love to see a segment of Star Ocean or Zone of the Enders...
I hate dot.Hack
Fable would also be really cool....but its dj_ultimas decision....
That were just my thoughts.....
In the end you decide, and of course the coordinator....

i was talking about the ORIGINAL ZoE game... not part 2... and the bouncer is like FF10 grafics cutscenes, but it takes about 10 minutes of gameplay to beat it.... *its like watching a movie for an hour and playing a fighting game for 10 minutes* Star Ocean *if i can rip it* would be my pick though... i LOVE that game.. and as for DJ Ultima... ZOMG!!! I LOVE FABLE, please do a great job!!! *although knowing you im pretty much just wishing you luck* and dot hack... well no big loss there, and FF8 is worn out i agree... *hell it ws worn out in 2002 when i did a vid to it*Scott Green wrote:I´m afraid you have to capture them to get it on your hard drive....sayde wrote:heh. Heh, but 1, 2 or 3?
And Stolen Soul, you know how long i've been trying to get Fatal Frame footage.. (I won't use it for this mep if it goes ahead but) - I just want it.
Heh also if anyone remembers Disappointment, i'd just like to say Disappointment III should be realeased sometime mid-2007.
ahahaha, spam.
I think i might try Silent Hill 1.. Although it has been seen to death.. But mainly just to show it is possible to get the original cinematics in good quality.. not like those online ones which somehow got passed around..
Is this project looking like a go-ahead?

In response to some of the posts, and some decisions that have been made...
I've decided on instrumental songs as the theme for the project, provided by each participant and mixed by TakefujiYami-sama, since he offered first. I'm thinking more along the lines of rock-based music, but it's equally important to me that each editor picks something that he or she really wants to edit to.
As for cutting down the songs, don't worry about this too much until the official thread gets underway, but I'm planning on having each participant send the mixer the full song with a specification on which section he or she wants (between 0:30 and 1:30 in length). This will give the mixer some excess to work with in making good transitions.
For the two who asked about non-Japanese games (bluetrain and AMV4000)... if you're really dead set on making a track to a "non" game, then I'll make an exception. It won't kill the project to have two or so segments not with the requirements. Like I said, as long as there is an ample number of Japanese games to make the project .org-able, then I'll be flexible. Games are games, to me, regardless of origin. I just have to make sure that I play by the .org's rules, of course.
For those who are asking if this project is getting the green light... yes, it is. Things went well with my computer this weekend, it seems, so I should be up and ready to go with the official thread in about a week. I decided on something simple for the title of the MEP: Project FMV.
Please begin brainstorming what instrumental songs you'd like to use for your segment, and that way we can get the mix up quickly and the project running smoothly from the start.
Unless there are any other concerns you need addressed, I consider this MEP good to go.

PS: anyone wanna work on banners/logos for this?

So I'm going to guess that my piano solo is going to be wildly out of place.
