Ok sweet, thanks - the megaupload link works just fine. Sorry to bother you and make you upload that again..

Okay, i start work April 2. However i too have a few projects that i need to finish... so i'll try and get them out of the way during my first week of holidays. Homework and this can take up the second week.. Ergo i will probably start on the 9th of April-ish.

Just thought i'd let you in on that highly anticipated news.
*sigh* its a shame not to see any Silent Hill in this project... *shakes fist*

I like it so far, Scott  =3 I like the simpler editing style, flows well with your song choice.

I also decided to hop on the Beta Bandwagon, got an XviD-compressed file (because the best I could do with compressing otherwise was 300MB, and you'd all probably appreciate a 10MB better) of my track thus far. Only 23 seconds, but I don't think it'll take too long to finish once I get to it. Simple editing for the beginning, but once the track picks up I'll have a bit more fun.

The Take's Super Duper Dirge of Cerberus Beta

Because I'm also working on Teh Gay Video for Puppets and also swamped with schoolwork, it might be a while before I pick this up again o.o

dj_ultima_the_great wrote: April 1st: sayde requires ten or fifteen seconds of footage from your track. If you don't have that much edited by April 1st, ten or fifteen seconds of lossless footage from your game will also suffice. THIS WILL NOT BE THE SAME FOOTAGE YOU ARE SENDING TO DJ_ULTIMA.
Question!!!
Does it matter if i send an edited part if i change some scenes in it afterwards???
I´ll send it to sayde on saturday or sunday.....and of course the 10secs for dj-san aswell....

since dj left the outro up to me, I'll be easy going on the issue. Do whatever you want. if you want me to use footage from your 20 second beta, that's fine. And if you so happen to end up changing that footage once it's all said and done, then so be it. I'll leave it up to you to decide whether or not you want to swap your 20 second beta with another.

So with in mind, I've decided on a new deadline. I would very much like people to start sending in there beta's starting april 1st. I'll be accepting footage throughout the entire month of april. This means that May 1st will be the new deadline for getting your betas/clips sent to me. I think 30 days is enough time to complete 20 seconds or so of your segment. Feel free to pm me the link if you don't want to share your progress w/ everyone else (for whatever reason).

Those who've already uploaded betas need not worry about this. (this includes you scott. I'll be more than happy to accept that 20 second beta of yours as footage for the outro if you want.) You only need to keep in mind that may 1st is the final day I'll be willing to swap one beta/clip for another.

Yo... been a while since I've updated, I know. Sorry about that.

The betas are looking awesome; I'm very happy with what I've seen so far. You folks have great styles all around, and if everyone else puts in their best, this should be a very engaging project to watch.

@bluetrain: okay, so you're apparently still interested in beta testing (you hadn't answered my PM). Could you please post some kind of contact information for me? I'd like to put it on the main page. Even if it's just telling people to use the PM system, I'd prefer to know that. Thanks.

In a second here I'll be updating the main page with some more contact info regarding the beta testers. Remember, unless some circumstance prevents one of us from viewing it, your beta has to clear all four beta testers before I'll let it into the project. The easiest way to do this is to upload your beta to a temporary upload site and make sure that you contact all four of us with that link. Of course, I greatly encourage everyone to share their betas with each other in this thread as well.

As for the deadlines... heh heh... yeah. I'm busier than I thought, so I'm going to go to May 1st as well. April Fools~! >_>;; However, just like sayde, the sooner you get the stuff into me the better.

Alrighty. Heading off to update the main page now. As usual, let me know if there's something I've forgotten. ^_^

- Jen

EDIT: also, when you send a beta or your lossless footage, could you put your username in the filename somewhere? It'll make it easier for me to keep track of who has sent what.

Big Bad News...ish

My computer is currently in rehab... The CPU and Video Card seem to have gone off on their own tangents. They have left the rest of the PC as a hulking mess of scattered pixels, physical memory dumps and evil freezes before the logon screen of windows xp...

In other words; i'm out of action till Tuesday (3rd) at the earliest...

Which means:
-No BETA from me until some time later this week... *sigh* i'm sorry...
+I can still BETA-test videos (there is no problem here)
-I am unable to send a 10-20sec clip to either sayde or jen at this time. Maybe i will be able to tomorrow depending on whether or not i can salvage some data.
+On the upside assuming my computer is irreperable. I will be upgrading the CPU and Motherboard to a DUAL-CORE system! w00t! And perhaps replacing the Video card to if necessary. This means faster editting! YAY!

Sorry to be such a bother... I've been trying to fix the computer myself for the past few days and i've made littel progress myself... i put the PC in on saturday for repairs but the technician's joblist is so large it won't be touched until monday the 2nd! *sigh*

Um i was pretty sure i replied to your pm. But its okay doesn't really matter all that much, (i'll put my details here and you can relay them to the mainpage)
People can contact me on:
AMV email: bluetrain@animemusicvideos.org
Or alternatively can seek my help via PM, this thread or (most importantly) HERE
I use that forum every day so you will definately have a quick response from me there.

Ummm yeah so now there's absolutely nothing to do at my house.... yay... nothing...
