Things have been moving slowly recently due to the fact that one member of the MEP had issues uploading his/her video, and there has been at least one other problem which will, for the time, remain unspoken.
Nothing major, and I will tell you right now that I have been more than a little lenient when it comes to deadlines, especially because I myself forget every now and then when a deadline is set for. I'm not going to become less lenient as time goes on, so people who haven't edited yet: don't worry about you somehow getting screwed over. If you know me (especially if you're in Gateway/have been paying attention to Gateway), you know I'd rather have you be a day late than not in the project at all. The only thing I ask is that no one takes advantage of this leniency, please continue to try to meet deadlines. Honest mistakes I can deal with. Explicit exploitation is a different story.
Anyway, yes, the project is quite far behind, but I assure you that every editor has met their deadline or come close enough for it not to make a difference. All the extra time generally crops up when I send out the first PM to someone asking if they're ready to edit, and I don't hear back from them for several days. This is not to belittle them, because I know full well that it's impossible to plan around a block of editing time that you don't know when it will happen, so I'm fine giving people a few days to get other, more important stuff done first.
*Sigh*
I'm too non-confrontational to be an MEP coordinator.
