Fullmetal Alchemist - Re-Written

Hello.
I thought I would share my recently completed AMV.
I created it to enter into the Auckland Armageddon Expo AMV contest (In New Zealand), where it achieved 4th place.


This was my first time using After Effects (V.5) for something other than playing around. I think there are a couple of scenes that could have been better utilized but overall I am happy with it.

Thank you for your time. I am happy to hear some feedback and I understand that I am not a match for the top AMV artists yet.

not so bad it's certainly a bit different fma amv, but you should work on storytelling and some more cool sync would fix it up also that sound waves effect wasn't necessary 3/5

it's ok, i felt some effects were uneeded, i like the song though gets me in the feeling .-.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

I approach editing from a technical point of view more than story telling. Spend quite a bit of time working on videos to get the look right.
I am trying to work on my lack of creativity and ability to come up with interesting stories. Though next I am going to try a dance / fun type video. I have always like that type but never actually made one.
