I have a good feeling about this AMV. Just downloading it at the moment ;) I'll put some comment on it later on.

EDIT: Wait, was this your first video or just the first time you posted a video here on the org?

Anyway, that was very pretty! :D I don't think I have much to complain about.. One major thing though. While the mood sync was pretty good and the way you captured this song was very atmospheric, I don't think you captured your concept properly. If this is about two lovers living far away from each other, where was the distance? O.o I felt like the other half of this video was missing.

Your sync and timing were pretty much right on, but some transitions felt a bit akward and too hasty. Maybe it's just the matter of getting used to it, but I took a notice on those issues immediately when I started watching this. But the overall flow was really nice and the transition effects you put there worked like they should, imo.

I expect this video to grow on me from now on :D Maybe it's going to end up as one of my 100 favourites sooner or later?.. Good job! Keep on editing such awesome stuff. Oh, and enjoy your stay on the org :D

4/5

EDIT #2: Wooops, deffinitely not a first vid. Should have checked your profile first..

Damn it! I was going to edit another AMV using this exact same song! Now my idea is totally been raped.

But I'll check it out anyway, due to Emong's words of praise.

Yeah, that was awesome, but I pretty much agree with everything Emong said. The second half did not convey the same feeling of longing/distance that the song did, and as such didn't have that emotional tug it could have. Also, I really hate Nickelback, so I won't be rewatching this too much.

Still though, for a first video this is outstanding

Well, since my concept of the video using this same song is different, I think I can still pull it off.

I agree with CrackTheSky and Emong.

Loved the atmosphere around this video :D The transition was quite hasty sometimes like emong mentioned and the mood sync and timing was pretty good.

Good job

first, thanks all for your comment !

-Emong
my AMV, I think, can be cut in three parties:

-first one minutes with the "interminable" trip of the man where I tried to make feel the long distance which separated them and pain to wait
-the left segonde is long in my AMV but short for figure, it are together only one night...
I wished that this party lasts because I live this at the moment so it is the party the most important for me
-third and last party is very short because rather painful for me and the stage of goodbyes

I tried to make feel this distance by stressing trip and fact that they stay only only night together
afterwards I agree with you for some violent transition which breaks ambience... :?

-CrackTheSky
desolate to have made you listen nikelback to still have you of ears? xD

Hmmm, I'll take a look

EDIT: Yea it was good, a bit too fast in the transitions sumtimes as niwa said. also I saw sum speed ups that kinda bugged me. at sum parts the atmosphere could been a bit better. over all a really good vid I enjoyed it. 4/5
