Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

William's Music Videos

Post by WilliamAcorn » Mon Mar 26, 2007 7:36 am

My friend Creepy suggested this site to me, and I took a look and decided to follow his advice and post links to my videos here on the forums. I've removed my Star Wars Episode 3 AMV, of course, but other than that, here are the videos I've posted to Youtube. Comments, ratings, and critiques, please.

My profile

Current vids up (in chronological order):
DBZ--Change
DBZ--Hero
FMA--Interstate Love Song
DBZ--Time of Dying
FMA--Man in the Box
Cowboy Bebop--No Rain
FMA--Self-Righteous Suicide

Just to point out but...:
Announcement Rules wrote:Also, please reserve your announcement posts to videos that have entries in the catalog. We do not mind if the video link you provide is offsite, but please at least have entered the video into our catalog which is the reason for this site to exist. We will start locking threads that don't meet this minimum criteria.
And I see only 1 of those vids is in the catalog. Plus, youtube isn't really looked well upon here, so... You may either get no responses or calls to upload here (possibly contempt also) Also our happy word filter killed your links

I was in the middle of posting my next vid link to my account when my internet frazzed out on me. If I must, I'll post it here, but I don't like the idea of people being able to download and steal my work. Credits are easily removed.

True, but I don't think someone here is goin' to steal thy video. Since editors here are working hard themselves,we don't need to steal anything. Besides,if thy video is stealed, and thou may prove it,let moderator or admin to know, and then the thief will be punished.
:D I like laughter ;DD

Very few people do that. And you probably wouldn't know even if they did. Even if you don't actually upload your videos here, at least enter them into the .org's catalogue as the main purpose of the .org is to keep information on every AMV ever created.

Also keep in mind that by putting the videos anywhere online (including the Toob), you are making freely available the work of both the musical artist whose music and the anime company whose anime you used to make your videos. How do you think THEY feel?

True, but at least I put some work into it =P
Also, I can't seem to find the upload place >.> Call me dense, but hey. All this stuff is in my account now, too.
EDIT: Well, most people don't have the ability or knowledge to steal it from Youtube =P

having your video in the catalog here is proof that you are the creator. videos are never removed, and premiere dates are shown.

on the tube, your stuff will eventually be gone when they do a sweep of copyrighted material
KioAtWork: I'm so bored. I don't have class again for another half hour.
Minion: masturbate into someones desk and giggle about it for the remaining 28 minutes
