Bizarre, but amusing nevertheless. :)

Like Mike & Meri, this video convinced me that I needed to check out Cromartie HS, and I can't wait until Greencine gets me the first disc. I've got nothing but respect for a video that can take a show I've largely never even heard of before and make me want to watch it... damn good stuff.

I found myself wishing there had been the equivalent of AX's 'AMTV' category in Pro, because this video really felt like a good, old-school MTV music video.

This video made me so happy that I can't even come up with something pretentious to say. It's pure fun and yet artistic. If you don't watch this video and cream over it, you are dead to me. YOU HEAR THAT?! DEAD!

Watch it and love it.

Now.

Or else I'll be under your bed when you get home. It won't be pretty.

I need to stop replying to every AWA thread saying how cool the author's video is because I'm flooding this place up already.... :x

Nah.

LOVED this video... the monkey stuff was hilarious!

This video single-handedly got me massively addicted to Cromartie High. Thanks for making it! It's great promotion for this insane series.

I gave this video my AWA Guest Award and for good reason!

Its fucking hillarious. And to its credit, the editing is what makes it hillarious instead of the song. For a comedy video to not use a funny audio sample and still be funny is admirable. For it to excel using a conventional song warrents big props.

I didn't like this video at all when I first saw it. By the third time, I loved every minute of it.

Typical conversation in my house over the last month:

daughter: You're watching the Cromartie video again?
me: of course
daughter: But it's weird!
me: weird is good
daughter: OK, but it's really weird!
me: It's just like those videos that came out in the first 6 months of MTV before it got all corporate and you never knew what to expect
daughter: But I wasn't born then.... to you it's nostalgia, to me it's just weird
me: You just want to watch the Kare Kano video again.
daughter: Why is that guy with the purple mohawk's head popping out of nowhere?
me: Why Ask Why
daughter: There's the gorilla again...
me: and the random objects
daughter: I give up...
