Fan-animated video - Dark Half

This video is unique because all of the footage was drawn/colored/compiled/animated/reanimated by me. The anime used are Inuyasha, Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, and Yu Yu Hakusho. IY and YYH get most of the focus. The song is ‘Haunted,’ by Evanescence, but don’t let that scare you away. I guarantee no one has used the song for a video quite like this, and none of this footage has ever been seen outside WinMX and Deviantart.com.

If you don’t like yaoi, but you have a sense of humor, you’ll probably get a laugh out of how absurd my noobish animation is. I’m really proud of the effort I put into this, but even I found the finished video ridiculous and overly silly the first time I watched it. ^_^;;

More info on the vid page...

Actually, from your desription, I was caught off guard by how good the animation and video actually were. I mean, hair movements?! That's GOTTA be difficult!

Thank you so much! ^__^ This was a major experiment, so I'm really attached to it.

Don't forget when you get back, okay? I'd love to hear what you think. I have a similar project on the backburner that uses Sailormoon, so any feedback would be applied to that. ^.~

:oops: :lol:

That was the part that killed me when I was watching betas. It took me forever to stop blushing and giggling at how 'wrong' it was. ^_^;; I almost killed the vid right there.

I had no idea so many frames were needed to make hair wave in anime. I love the way it looks in anime, but trying to do it... Yech. o.o The vid quality was clean because the art was done to be resized to 640x480, doesn't help my 'fanart', but brings the colors out. ^.~

Nice animation work though, are you planning on trying to throw in some more frames in the animations in your future projects?

well try 24 frames or how many you feel like throwing in, but for smooth movement, I'd got with 24. I had an animation test involving a flowing cape (based on a scene from the matrix) with about 30 frames playing at 24 frames a second, turned out nice.
