Smahut project : Into the fire

Post by LCY84 » Wed Mar 02, 2005 2:56 pm

Hey,
I'm proud to announce you our new amv, made by Dark-Krystal, nestie, Olw and myself. This video is a little bit special because it's a mix between 4 amvs using the same song and the same anime. (more informations
on the comments of the vid)

Anime : Kenshin OVAs 1-4
Song : Into the fire by Thirteen senses

here is the link : http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=64012

Also, you can download the director's cut version showing the four original amvs and the mix between those amvs, or maybe the original amv made by our members...

We hope you will enjoy the videos ;)

That video is great.
Your concept of creating each one a video with the same song and anime then mixing it all together is great.
According to the director's cut, all videos are really good, and the mix seems fluid and homogeneous, nothing shocks in the cut.
There are not all the parts I prefer from your single videos but though the mix is awesome. The anime and music fits so well, there's a deep mood, great use of effects, that is said : awesome.
Great job Smahut.

Hmmm, this was was quite...different?

Had a nice touch to it. The photographs in the beginning were nicely done, looked as if an englishman who traveled to japan took em =). Very nice effects, and slow mood set. Good work :)

I like the beginning of it, and a lot of the effects and how they were used, but some of them seemed unnecessary

hey, thanks all for the comments.
Glad you liked it (especialy for the beginning: it's mine lol)

We know, lot of people who have seen the director's cut may probably prefer another mix, but everyone's choice is different ^^.
(I think if you don't take 2 times the same scene, it's not a so bad mix ^^)

We are actually uploading the 4 vids in our own profile if you're interested.

Really good job, all four of you :)

I downloaded the final video out of the blue, and cause I didn't pay much attention to the description yesterday evening, I thought it was by one creator lol. This shows you did a really good job making it unique.

Seeing the directors cut was very interesting to see the concept. But all of those 4 videos were really well edited, there were some parts where I would've chosen another editor for the final video. It must've been really hard to choose.

Great job, I'm really suprised how much the smahut people improved over the last year. And considering you all did your single videos in one week... YOU GUYS HAVE TOO MUCH TIME, definately
