Nice vid, very nice. However I didn't like the mpeg compression, at least not at 720x480, woof, some scenes just got way too grainy during the action.

Sweetness. I love the editing in this video. As Jebadia said though, The quality is pretty bad in high action scenes, an Xvid would've been better choice. Or at least smaller resolution Mpeg.
I commandeth you. maketh Xvid version. So we may enjoy in full quality glory.

sorry for posting back to back, but now that im watching the vid, i realize they played it at Jacon.. pretty nice vid.. not the best editing... also the quality is/was low.. looks like it was originally WMM converted to Mpeg...
*dunno if i saw you there, but this vid coulda been much better... the skipping of the fan wasnt to recognizable... and it looked like it lacked editing in some parts.. plus all the chess parts bored me... just my opinion

I'm curious, what parts seemed like it lacked editing...because honestly if you didn't notice much of the editing then I think some of what I am trying to do has been accomplished. Seemless editing is something I strive for, my cuts are not supposed to stand out, though I am curious which parts you felt needed "more editing".
Also I've watched it a thousand times at fullscreen, the only serious quality loss I see is at 1:15 when he is running for his life and it looks a bit nasty there. The MPEG1 compression from Huffy wasn't perfect, I'll try a Dixv compression and see what happens. I should also note that it might look odd to you because I did alter the look of the clips, I echo'd the entire video and messed with the saturation and luminance values. I drained quite a bit of color from the original and added plenty of white to give a brighter blown out look.
The chess pieces are a theme and motif, I'm sorry that they bored you, but that's not really my problem. I felt they were a great story telling device, and you don't, that's fine with me.
