Another Noir DVD Vol 7 Omake :P

Post by Kusoyaro » Mon Nov 03, 2003 11:12 am

Like AbsoluteDestiny, I also produced a video that is included on ADV's release of Noir, DVD vol. 7. Accessing the video is practically the same as AbsoluteDestiny's, except you press RIGHT instead of UP. For those of you who haven't read the other thread, here are full instructions:

Go to episode 25
Skip to chapter 4 (which happens mid action)
Press RIGHT on your dvd player remote.

Oh yeah. Video info page.

Have fun. And buy Noir! :D
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

Another NOIR "virgin"?? First AD now you...have any of you seen or heard or NOIR prior to being contracted by ADV to do this video? It almost baffels me that there are actually fans who have never seen or heard of certain titles before getting licensed - especially the popular ones. Well I know not everyone has a lot of time to see everthing or bothers downloading/watching fansubs that may or maynot interest them.

I noticed my local Hastings has a copy but it's out so as soon as I can grab it, I'm giving them all look see. It will be very interesting to critique a video from someone who is oblivious to the show they are working on.

Might make an interesting project down the line for me.

My video has been known to choke on some DVD players :( It will play on PS2, though for some reason there are a couple of odd pauses in the footage (the music keeps going, though). Ah well. Go out and buy volume 7 of Noir!
Yummy. :\

I'd seen the first 2 eps fansubbed years ago (I wasn't that interested in it at the time) and hadn't seen it since its western release because it wasn't high enough on my to-buy list.

I saw the show for the first dozen episodes, then I stopped watching it.

Because it's CRAP.

But just buy volume 7, for the AMVs and stuff. Yea.

I've seen the first two episodes. Twice. Fell asleep both times. I'll just be borrowing the disc from a friend who's bought them all :P

I'm pretty sure that, after She is My Sin and the more well-known Die Another Day, coupled with the sampler DVD in one of the issues of Newtype, enough people on the Org have heard of or seen some of Noir.

I have it on my to-get list after I finish up Kare Keno and Excel Saga. I find it more intriging than interesting, really.
