Hey, that was pretty good. I've never seen Initial D. Is it a decent show (i.e. interesting to non-ricers)? Question: the scene where the pistons were firing, did you add those lighting effects or was that part of the show? either way it was timed good.

Thanks. Well, I consider Initial D awesome because I am actually a racer(autocross, drag racing) and I'm really into cars, not to mention the show has a decent love story behind it.

The pistons firing is part of the show, but I changed the color levels and made the whites brighter and darks darker on a lot of the video, including the pistons.

Anyway, I'm glad you liked the video, I suggest checking out the anime.

I loved Initial D, but I too am a gear head, though not really a ricer. I have a couple friends in the import scene who borrowed a copy. I dunno how someone not into cars would get into it, though a friend of mine w/o his license seemed to. Give it a shot, you might find it interesting. Though a warning, the first season animation isn't that great.

Really, I would love to find the DVD, cause I have a couple ideas in mind for AMVs.

as for this video, I am d/ling it right now, @67%, wait, 68%... :D

I'm not a big fan of cars, but I love sports anime. And this comes mighty close.

Initial D = pretty good stuff, despite the not-too-great art and CG.

PS. And that vid was pretty good. Wish that the speedometer scenes were synched a bit more. Great concept. Retool it to perfection!

Nice video! :D very well done, and I like the music. Very different from what I had in mind, but it still works extremely well.

Thank you very much, I appreciate the comments. Yeah some of the things in the video I would love to clean up, like the RPM gauge and also the ending. I just need to be more creative and find a better way to end the video, cuz it has too much momentum.

Anyway, check out my other video if you get a chance.
