- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Re: Neerouatjar
You're one of my favorite editors and this is such a great concept but I felt like the pacing was too quick for the music. This is quite a lot to ask for from an AMV, but I was anticipating a feeling of terrible dread from this that never really materialized. I definitely loved the scenes you chose and I thought the fades to black were just what this needed, but I think this would have had a bigger effect on me if some of the shots you chose were given more time to sink in and leave an impression on the viewer. There's definitely no "flashes" in this video but some of the shots appear and disappear so quickly that they didn't really work on me in the way I felt they could have if they'd been given just a little more time to linger, impart some meaning and give us some more time to attach feeling to them.
None of this is helpful and some of it probably sounds contradictory, so I guess it's my impression/response more than any kind of meaningful critique.
If you check Elcalavero's profile you should see how long they've been making AMVs.

Did the video successfully play for you or not? What are you trying to watch it with?post-it wrote:.. about marker @ 2:00 the codec failed, same as mine when I encoded my last AMV Alternative Ending, other than that -- Nice Job

Re: Neerouatjar
Howdy. .. All I was trying to point out was a Codec Error.
1) ? Did I watch it with a Popular Player; nope!
2) ? Length of being an Editor; this was aiming at Proof Reviewing your AMV.
ErMaC and I were in a heated battle with Codec Errors back when I was translating Love Hana and InuYasha and he was handling Tiny Fairy Sugar. AnimeCo was no longer finishing Angelic Layer because of problems with xvid and HonoBono was trying .ogm multi-languages with Gundam Destiny.
... The point being: .mp4 files needed h264 stabilizers. It seems that the h264/5 stabilizers are no longer being added to Encodes and what I was curious about was If You Knew how to spot when the Quality Graduates were not being encoded into your AMVs.
The guru's on this board are no longer being helpful in creating updates for our .mp4 files and hoping that you may have noticed This Error or not.

Re: Neerouatjar
I really liked the mood in this. I don't agree with seasons in that I think it was paced pretty much exactly how I'd have expected, but I do agree that I wish there was just something more...there was definitely a creeping sense of horror that I wish had a little more to it. But then, the video works perfectly fine as a mood piece, and these tend to be my favorite kinds of horror videos, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. It may take a few more views for me to come to a definite conclusion on this. But I like it quite a bit
Also, I had no issues whatsoever playing it so I have no idea what post-it is talking about

Re: Neerouatjar
Crack .. It could be my codecs but, I'm seeing a complete misquito-bursting error on the dark to black frames and fades in the video. I can't explain it very well. ( sorry to the AMV created - forgive me. ) but I'm seeing something that, according to FAB says shouldn't be happening!
