Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Oh my goodness!!! I LOL'ed!! That was still pretty surreal. Yes, I loved the first 13 seconds but I think the rest of the video fit so well and was really weird. And the credits with January 1908 was nothing more than originality genius!

Whoever is medicating you needs to go back to pharmcist school they obviously messed up.

I didn't like it, mostly for the same reasons 'sky does like it :p

Actualyl I found it random and pointless as you yourself said not in the same words in the thread. I didn't find it original, random does not equal original, no real concept but you said that too. *shrugs*
other than that everything I'd say has already been pointed out... well so had what I just wrote :|

Also I've been watching Millenium recently and the toasters didn't quite attack people it was multimillion dollar earning IT nerds using axes and guns, but that'd be a TV show so IRL it must have been only American toasters that were slated for a war of the worlds re-enactment.
new banzors in the making :p

Shhh, I don't want them to know you're my dupe account. What? How did you post without me knowing?

Man, if they let me out of here unaccompanied, and I was allowed to handle non-rubbercoated objects, I'd probably come and find you... so we could go catching butterflies together.

Ack. Yes, it's random. Yes, it's also weird, but there is a bit of structure.

It's a brief comedy intro (think most people worked that out), followed by dramatic lucky star, followed by psycho-horror-parody-thing lucky star. Then the whole thing is set to innapropriate music, while my name flies all over the screen at random angles for 2:30.

The title is obviously a poor man's double entendre.

The beach stuff is probably pretty weak, the clips are basically in the order they appear in the anime, but it's just supposed to be mournful and pretty, like, you know, childhood memories.

I had most fun doing the last segment, I like tsukasa talking to everyone around her, while those creepy bells patter over what she's saying, then her friends just act weirdly zoned out (and backwards), 'till she's all alienated by the end.
Oh, I forgot to try and colour adjust the beach bit in the credits. That was supposed to be by moonlight (you know, continuity! snigger).

Hmm, just saying it's not completely empty. Plus, it does have my name flying all over the place, which is just so damned cool. Well, I like it anyway.

A couple of people have mentioned the 'AE whoring' in the QCs, which kind of took me by surprise. I'll try and emphasise again, I used AE because it's fun, and interesting. I honestly didn't have a clue that saying what software I used would ruffle any feathers. I dunno, maybe some people could ask why I used it rather than forming their own half-assed conclusions. Or perhaps I'll understand this complex political issue someday.
It's somewhat ironic that for all the hyperbole and self-serving bullshit in my announcements, I get called out on the only innocuous and factual statement. Er, apart from the bit about it being disjointed, I suppose that's grounded in reality too.

Hmm, sleep deprivation makes bwabbwer cranky.

:P

Edit: Autraya, sorry, that came out a bit like; you're a retard, you don't get it, that's not what I mean, obviously I accept that's your opinion. That was just to ellucidate for, well anyone that might have wondered.

Damn, that sucks because I love your stuff... to think you could have been my mentor, but that now... I am your arch nemesis.

I liked this video. This was definitely not what I was expecting, and you surprised me greatly. I loved the quirky editing.

We need to form a club... Of really cool people.

Yep. That's us.

YOUR VIDEO HAS NO BEGINNING AND ENDING AND MIDDLE

Yet it has progression. Why? How? But more importantly, why?

It was still pretty genius, anyway. You don't leave me a whole lot of intelligent things to complain about.

You trying to audition for 'Studio B' or what?

PS.
There's now a deuceloosely special extended edition director's cut xvid (with 0.6s of bonus footage!) available via rapidshare , in case you're one of those who for some reason can't play .mp4 accidentally encoded at 300fps.
