This is a great amv
I know a lot of the elitists of this site aren't going to agree with me but I enjoyed it and found it to be pretty good. I liked the music, the synch done in some areas, I like the flow of sequences, nothing felt horribly off, the intensity of the song matches the intensity of the footage, the synch to a lot of people may seem accidental but I can tell in a lot of places where you tried to synch. It was a lot of times a frame or two off from the music but it felt just right. Didn't bother me one bit.
I can see you have a lot of talent in this, just work on your synch more, maybe a different program may help you.. it is incredibly more difficult to move around, cut and past in certain editors like WMM and that's what it seems this was made in.
Forget what others are telling you about DVDs, you use too many episodes that would probably be spread around to many DVDs and most of the scenes you used are from scenes not even released in America yet and wont be for a long time, and Japanese imports are very expensive.. not just because importing them is expensive, they cost a lot even if you are in japan going to the video store. I've seen many 2 eps on one dvd over 60 bucks, it's total insanity.
So, it is obvious you used fansubs, so I don't think it should be considered bad if I told you to use raws instead. A thirty bucks hard drive would be enough to put the entire Naruto series on it, and since you were able to find the sub episodes you used I don't think it would be that hard for you to get a hold of the raws that are available online. Raws are the Japanese language versions with no subs, they are better to use than the subs. And if you are just going to keep editing naruto amvs with the subs, at least try to avoid them when you can and if you need a scene with them, maybe consider cropping them out. I'm not supporting downloading and not supporting the distributing companies, I just know what footage you want to edit with and I find it unreasonable to have to get imports just to make yourself a naruto amv. If they were already available out in the US then I'd push for you to use them, if you were planning on making a video that uses the first 30 or so eps then I'd advise you to get the DVDs.
I didn't think the visual quality was that bad.. I've seen a gigantic amount of naruto amvs with a lot worse visual quality than this. I'd say pretty decent job with this.
And please, disable the god damn Divx logo will you? It's so freaking easy so there is no excuse to leave them in there in your next video. Type under google "disable divx logo" to find a guide of how to do so.
I don't know why.. 4/5 is very rare thing for me to give, but oddly I get a nice amount of enjoyment from this vid.. so I give it 4/5
Nice job! ;P
