Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I really enjoyed it. I liked that you took two overused sources and made a completely non-linear video where all of the clips just seem to flow from one to the next. It's pretty good to sit back and watch that flow as you're jumping all over the places but the motion and transition between clips is just smooooooth.

I think all the timing is from Toushi. And some ideas like cellular instead of knife at 2:44 or fast frames at 3:10

For indeed this video is some cool shit sir :o
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Wow thanks. I'm really glad you liked the source material part of it. Making something fresh out of an overused anime/song was another goal I was striving to accomplish, so thanks alot for mentioning that. :) I'm also pleased you all dig the clip choice and non-linear aspect too. Makes me happy to know random action is still enjoyed.

I knew someone was going to mention that damn phone ;) I saw the clip working there and went with it. I remember thinking it looked too similar to Toushi but figured it could be a nod to the video that helped me discover SR-71; without Toushi, I would never had heard this song and my vid would never have existed.

Oh man... Alternate realities and AMVs combined. My head just exploded.

Pie, have I recently told you how awesome you are? That's probably one of the best action videos I've seen in some time.
