I liked it.
Despite of what people have said up until now there was some creativity in parts (like at 00:30 - unless these two scenes were related like that in the anime, which is something I can't remember), but it's true that the synching pattern soon got very repetitive and easily predictable (though I'm not sure how you could have gotten over that problem with this song - maybe rotoscopping certain characters out and having the beat-synch going on behind them would show some more creativity). The messy ending could also have been done much better.
But it was overall quite enjoyable.

I thought it was pretty solid. The way you put the scenes together and synced it worked well. Though, about halfway through, it kinda seemed like you ran out of "cool" ways to do it and the video started to become a little boring and without reason. So, in conclusion imo the first part was top notch and the second could have used a little more work.
I love to wear absurd and totally impractical garments. What's more, I derive great pleasure from spending time with women for no apparent reason.

More probably than not.CrackTheSky wrote:Don't you mean thinger?OropherZero wrote:Decoy's syncher thing
You are right with the scenes at 00:30. They are not connected like this in the anime. Actually there are three different scenes there, on which I used some effects.Cast to Stone wrote:I liked it.

As for the repetative sync I had also a concept behind this, but I'll let everyone make their own thoughts about it.
The last "messy" part...hm...yea I have to say I could have put more effort in that to make it more powerful, but I'm Ok with my result.
Thanks for your comment.
I'm sure someone will do that somedayAutraya wrote:you could auction that off for a few zerglings.

hot sync...yeaFunky-kun wrote:The atmosphere of the video was nice. Too bad it got too repetitive too fast. At last it wasn't very long, so this is hardly a problem. Sync was hot.

I tried to get the xvid version up today, but there seems to be a problem with the indirect link entry. I'll get it up asap.
EDIT: I've added the Xvid version now.

I feel like this video is going to give me a headache. There is such a thing as oversynching, and this video is a case study in it. You managed to systematically destroy any flow with the rather redundant flashes.
I could go on but all that has already been covered by other people. I think the real problem here is that it's incoherent. There's something there... maybe. I can't tell. It doesn't make sense.
