Wow, all the hype... Never really liked Astro Boy, but this sounds good. *wonders if laptop can handle a 60 fps mp4*

deception eh? ... just give in to it... that's what it's all about.

Astro Boy (2003) actually has a decent storyline... it's just so damn long... and has some 'kiddy' episodes. But I hear the second half has some darker themes [I'm at ep30, and it's starting to pick up]. I'm not sure if that's why the last 20 eps weren't aired in America... but I'll find out
don't take it as a "deception" I just couldn't see the synch so clearly as I use to see it in other AMVs (and believe me that if I don't find the synch then is an instant fail for me) but as I said it may be due to the footage being speeded up (since I didn't had problems playing the files) and I didn't find it to be off synch either so yeah I have mixed feelings here .

I was watching it in Cartoon Network I think (when it was aired here) and yeah they indeed got to a good part, but CN started to loop the episodes which pissed me off and of course I stopped watching it

yeah, I think know what you mean. It goes here and there with vocal sync and instrument sync. I pretty much went along with the voice, and at points when that didn't feel like enough, I synced other stuff.

For me I always use vlc for amvs, as the 'just in case' factor so that a good AMV doesn't get ruined the first time I watch it.
However, fansubs in MPC ftw.
also... seeking. They need to fix the seeking ability.

well we have at least one stat: 1.8 GHz Turion 64 laptop worked fine for Bakadeshi... which ironically is about the same machine I use for everything.

Well, it played perfectly fine for me.

Unfortunately I really didn't care for it. The editing was excellent, so it's entirely not your fault, I just despised the footage.

... lotta mixed feedback on the animation :\ but it's nice to hear the editing was excellent.
