- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

well, i really wasn't a fan of the effects in the last segment either, however i thought BT did an awesome job blending all the tracks together (better than 99% of meps out there and this was an IC)and it was good to see even with different editing styles you all sorta adapted to hit the beats/music in the same way.
frontier worked really well with this audio mix (also very smooth I assume BT did the audio mixing as well?).
the multiple anime track blended in well with the other sources... did I actually see RG Veda in there in the intro?
and lastly purge is a ninja.

I meant distracting from the anime... it felt more like the anime was complementing the effects in this part rather than the other way around, which is just my preference. it felt almost like a winamp (or WMP) visualization plugin :Obluetrain wrote: EDIT: And why does everyone say when i used these boxxy effects that they are "distracting" - distracting from what? whats going on next to your screen - i certainly hope so, pay attention to the video - don't watch the lightswitch...?
Its not over the top of anything important so it IS the video - and when its completely synced - during a new section of the song shouldn't you expect that the scene is going to change anyway? - I just don't get this point of view, perhaps disctracting is not the right word - maybe you mean "Over-the-top" or "Out-of-place" or "Show-y" or maybe even "Bad" - if you think it is distracting from the concept of the video then i think you're reading too much into it.
If this is what you wanted to accomplish, then good job. I just wasn't really feeling it :O
