Unbreakable was certainly unexpected. While Christian/Rock bands are not my thing, it was catchy, I'll admit. Ginban Kaleidoscope was not something I've seen used much, which is a shame since it has that similar Kaleidostar vibe (though not as good). Your editing was great and really compels me to watch this series again.

Hehe thanks. I know Unbreakable lost some energy, but I was running out of footage >_>annyaonweb wrote:Wut AMV: LOL "For this.. i kill u in your sleep" Nya~ so funny! The parts with "meow meow meow" were funny toocould've been better but i liked it, made me chuckle.
Unbreakable AMV: This one was awesome. I loved the overlays on the beats, very nice parts. The beginning with her dancing and the plane crashing made it interesting. I enjoyed it `til the end but maybe, in some places.. less fades to black? Maybe it was just me.
Anyway, good work on both! ^^

Hahaha. Yea, the actual Ginban anime is pretty lame. I only got it because it mentioned a "Canadian ghost" ... I fear now that the Japanese think Canadians hate tomatoes. o.oDoctor Aesling wrote:I liked both videos really well Moonie. The cat video was very funny. I like how you built your own narrative for Unbreakable. It was done very convincingly, and it makes the anime look awesome. When I read a summary of the actual plot I laughed pretty hard.
(Trust me I don't mind about WUT?, it was just a goofy thing.) Glad you liked Unbreakable thoughOmikami_Amaterasu wrote: Heee just looked at both - can't say I dig the kitty video too much, but I really enjoyed Unbreakable. The editing style is very simple but the shot selections are excellent and very well-integrated together; and they flow with the music perfectly. Smile

:] I love that song ... my regret is that I didn't have enough footage to use the WHOLE song. I cut it pretty drastically.Rubyeye wrote:Unbreakable was certainly unexpected. I totally thought the airplane part matched up with the skating in the original. Excellent work, Mewnster.

Mewn, I'm really disappointed.
This video was painful. You kept cutting stuff at the WRONG TIME IN THE JUMP.
Don't you have any empathy for the editors that are also figure skaters? Don't you realise whenever we follow a jump we go through the muscle movements? Man, cutting before the jump is complete, or worse, cutting TO AN ENTIRELY different jump is like...
Yeah. Well. Dun dew eet again, you hear.

I think I would be more forgiving about technical aspects like that. I mean Hollywood gets technical stuffs wrong all the time and they supposedly have professionals doing research or provide technical guidance.Kionon wrote:Mewn, I'm really disappointed.

While everything I said is true, I was joking.
I liked the video. Unless Mewn was lying about not being able to skate, no one would expect her to know the differences in preparatory movements of say a salchow vs. a flip or a toe loop, or that cutting from a jump before the lift and landing is annoying to skaters.
