Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I watched this the other day when Danielle was playing it (I think you've addicted her to that song -w-).
I found the text at the begining distracting, even after watching heaps of sub titled anime I had trouble following both the video and the text. I don't know if it needed to be there.
I also don't really like the song so the video didn't catch me as much as it could have but I really liked the effect where the different clips all fell into alignment and your scene selection has waffle-ness ^_^

Hey, no problem. The next video I plan to do will be a lot different than this one, and will likely have a lot less random effects in it.CrackTheSky wrote:Don't like it, like I've already told you. Some of the changes you made also irk me, and all in all this just isn't my cup of tea at all. Sorry.

Hey you've improved a hell of a lot eh?
The transitions were all pretty smooth. The 3-d styled motions were all pretty smooth as well. The sync was pretty dynamic. I like how you mostly just tried to sync to the most noticeable changes in pace/beat comparison. Slightly random but the beginning and the parts with lyrics kinda ties everything together. I have a feeling the visual quality of these movies effects my overall outtake on this amv but if I like it, I like it right? It's good that you were experimenting with FX but try to avoid using fx just for the sake of using them. It didn't really feel like the part with the yellow array of lights was enhancing anything. I figured you might have just thrown it in there to make it look cooler.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

That's an interesting rating scale you used there one needs to be really good with numbers to calculate high scores.
ok I agree with the person from the place without kangaroo's about the white border, I think the other version you had worked much better.
And some of the missing sync still irks me, but you know what? I can still sit back and watch this video and enjoy it without being bothered by it, and then i watch it again, and again, and again, and*kristy smashes my monitor* T_T

Thanks for the comments! Don't worry, I don't plan on doing anymore random effects vids......at least not for a whileEva-Fan wrote:Hey you've improved a hell of a lot eh?

Thanks again for the help with this AMV, as well as the op.
