So far man, this is the best amv I've seen this year. The storyline was a masterpiece in my eyes. When watching it, I got part of it, though some was still blurry to me(because I haven't watched FF8) but the description you typed explained it all. 5/5 from me and added to my top 5.

You're the person that liked it the most. And you never played the game, so woh, I can't be more pleased with that.

Pretty nice. Storyline was gorgeous, though the video quality could have used some work.

Although now FF8's ending is totally spoiled to me.

I appreciate carefully constructed storylines in AMVs and this is one of those videos that stand out for their thought-arousing and a compelling clip selection. It was solid, never lost its focus yet nothing too simplistic. I didn't read the description (I don't like things explained to me through-out like that Razz) and I only saw the video once and I can still safely say there's hell of a lot happing beneath.

I wasn't personally that fond of the pacing of the video though. I appreciate progression, so don't get me wrong, but I just though the last 1/3 or 1/4 of the video wasn't really sufficient for the slow-paced beginning and the middle. It's just something to get used to though, and ever so a question of personal liking. I felt like it needed to be a little longer to carry the story sufficiently O.o Some extra minute of faster paced story-telling wouldn't have hurt it.

Technically, the clips lasted quiiite long. I understand the song is really slow-paced but the video still seemed like it was dragging along with its slooow fading. Also, hitting more beats in the faster paced sequences could have worked better for me but it wasn't really distracting as it is now either.

To make the video with that footage was a bit difficult because there aren't many scenes about the "void world" so I needed to prolong them as I could.

About the extra minute; I thought that, but I like to make people to think. I explained that in the video description.

Downloaded this because I just finished playing FF8 again some days ago.
You really did a good job there. I enjoyed watching and it was really entertaining.
Best use of the FF8 footage imo ;P

I liked it, the only thing which irked me was the sudden changed to beat synch in the middle, it was inconsistent to the rest of how you chose to synch the song, just commit to one or the other =P Also try to compress the vid a bit more, you're bound to lose quite a few downloads because of the high filesize.

really cool video, nice to see that FF8 can still be made into something fairly creative, even though it was overkilled years ago.

I'm tired about the same video style (a little of romantic scenes, a little of battle scenes, then mix it and make it consistent... bah, bored and with not many originality). I wanted something different and I think that I achieved my purpose.

Good video, I liked the story and scene choice. Most effects looked pretty good and fit in with the rest of the vid quite well (although the noise effect didn't really suit the mellow atmosphere of the song imo, but it served its purpose, so it's alright).
Other than that, the editing was simple and well done overall.
This is a solid and enjoyable AMV, good work.

I am absolutely wowed by this, yea, some people might be turned off by the no beat sync then switch to beat sync style but I enjoyed that, it made me more focused on the scenes in the beginning. Made me wonder exactly what the story was and which direction it was going to take. I love that you used the original font of the game, that's a nice touch, especially since that opening FMV with that font is forever engraved into my memory. I understood the story you were conveying even without having to read your description. Absolutely stunning 5/5
