Kids and their imaginations...this seriously creeped me the hell out. I'm shocked at what you were able to do with this in such a short amount of time. This is honestly just a flat-out awesome (I hesitate to use the word "amazing", but it's probably just as applicable) video. I say it in every announcement thread of yours it seems, but you just have such a fucking flawless sense of flow. This is probably the best example yet.

I can't find anything to complain about, to be honest. Spot-on scene selection, freaking awesome story/concept, consistent beat sync, beautiful quality...you are rising through the ranks, good sir.

I'm not so sure about the anime/song combination. I mostly agree with everyone else though, pretty epic video with a very good flow to it. I just think that the music and the story kinda don't go very well together (I'm just talking about the visuals of the story though since I haven't seen the movie and just know the story from this), so maybe it could've been even more epic with a more fitting song. :<

There were some bits that I found interesting, but overall I didn't really feel that much of a connection between the song and Tekkonkinkreet. Lyrically it's fine, but musically and atmospherically I felt it didn't fit at all. Editing itself is fine.
Also, the correct aspect ratio for this film is 2.35:1, not 16:9.

Your clip selection was right on, concept- and mood-wise. You were able to capture this song just perfectly without beat sync whoring or cheap tricks. Not that more of those would be a bad thing =P I liked the occasional flashing (with those fade-outs) and I think you could have synced a lot more beats like that. It would have been more intense that way, although, I'm not so sure whether it would take something away from your mood sync
Anyhow, very nice video, especially your sense of flow and mood sync

Yeah about the beat sync, i used the much more often in the beta, but then i got some feedback regarding those that almost everyone said i should remove the syncs! But awesome that you liked it

I got the basic concept, but honestly, I wasn't too impressed. The video gets alot of atmosphere and feeling from the scenes itself which blended over some editing problems. And then there is the song issue:

Lyrically it's fine, but musically and atmospherically I felt it didn't fit at all.

To put it more bluntly: It would help if the song wouldn't suck ass

But you got me interested in the anime, so I guess your job is still well done

*sigh* can't remember how long it's been since i last downloaded an amv, thank you for forcing me to get this NeverEnd. Now I'm going on an AMV-binge thanks to you, downloading one after another =P

Anyways, loved the scene choice, really got the impact of the song. You did great on the sync but a small part I didn't get as drawn into as others. The song I'm not a big fan of though but you kept me actually interested in watching the whole thing. 3.8/5

Although I didn't like the song, your editing really helpd me get over that hump and i disagree with Prod i think that they do connect well together but everyone takes away their own impression from a vid
