Pretty solid video although I think it would've been much better without the most likely sometimes randomly thrown in flashes which did not quite sync the beats or the b/w to color changes. And I would suggest not to add the intro and outro music source to the catalog entry since I was really hestitating to download it since I saw Nickelback AND E Nomine in the sourcelist.

And Poisonblacks vocals sound an awful lot like Sentenced's Villa Laihiala ... Did he take over the job ?

Oh. I liked it. I think the greyscaling was a mistake, and I didn't care for the music at all, but I still liked it for its overall content.

4.00/5.00

Very nice indeed. ^_^

EDIT:

Oh. I forgot that I owe you an opinion. If you don't care, I'll opinion this one. ^_^

I am quite impressed with this video. Flaws and all (well, I haven't taken the time to look at the flaws that much, I was pretty much in awe). Must have been the 14 seconds of blood splattering action (rounded up).

Thanks for your comments everyone, i'm just feeling kinda tired so I shan't respond to everyone individually.

The studio intro music isn't listed at all just the credits at the end and the 2 tracks that make up the vid. I list the music that goes into making a video haphazardly but i really don't see why listing the audio used in an amv is a problem, to me, imagine if i had posted a video that used 3 anime but i only listed 1 of them... I'd be copping the same comments for not listing them all :\

Alexheart - I got the song off a compilation album and i actually didn't even know about the other band (which i will now check out)

contrary to popular belief i don't actually chose my music based on what everyone else will like, i pick songs I like and make me want to edit :P and nickleback... well there's an underlying message to the amv... i thought using that particular nickleback piece would make it blatantly obvious so far from the comments I've received no one has gotten it lol not that it's esoteric in form more that I placed a distraction called words in the credits which seem to be doing their job admirably.

Kev- what is the error? They are the song names as i know them other than i used an orchestral version of one of the songs instead of the 'normal' version... I just didn't see the point in creating yet another audio entry. *shrugs* happy to fix it

On sync, i pretty much tried to stick to the same beat throughout the song as I have a bad habit of jumping around all over the place.... looks like i was a little too regimented and needed to be moar dynamic.

The grey scale - in the lead up to the second chorus it's there to differentiate different scenes as in there are 2 storylines happening at once (actually there are 3 but the psycho kid and the French guy are easier to pick out) I was kinda at a loss of what else to use to be honest since last time I used glows people complained XD *shrugs* ideas/suggestions on how i could have separated them are welcome.
*edits* oh yeah and I was actually trying to hide the level of severed apendages/blood with it that coupled with some fades killed most of it to keep it .orgable

Viney- It's a version thereof of my manifest entry.... I actually scaled back some of the off beat flashes and reduced the fade in and out to black (by about 15 seconds) added the edge feather and a few other tweaks in this version

I was also dissapointed in the cleaning i did in avs... i thought it could have been better but :|

The Fullscreen version is HOT

And the video is hot. I didn't like your "skip sync", if you catch my drift, but I very appreciate the kickassery you bring to these parts. Another thing that bothered me though was the dominance of dark scenes. The lighter scenes such as the swordfight were extremely effective in contrasting the dark mood of the song, and I wish you'd done more of that. But overall, this mongrel is satisfied :)

Oh, and PS : Random flashes and repetitive sync FTL too.

But swordfights still ftw.

Overall, I thought this video was pretty enjoyable, though I don't like bloody amvs too much =). I particularly liked some of the sync used around the two minute mark =D, nice work!
