Considering how delayed this is I gotta wonder how bad those others are...
Oooooohhohohohohoho...

The delay on this one was, what, three months? Given my experience with Animasia and ProjeKct Life, I would hardly call that a delay at all. In fact, even the Telephone Project might've run a little farther behind schedule than this. You did well!
Actually, that depends which schedule we mean for telephone. The one that was set for the actual release ended up being exact to a date.

But I digress >__>

Don't hate us because we're beautiful!

(actually, given the nature of the project, I'm surprised there hasn't been much more reactions like this one :P )
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

This is the MOTHER of all experimental videos. Seriously, this entire damn project just floored me. Every track was engaging and just plain fun (with the exception of maybe FC's - sorry man, I love ya, but I felt like yours was just boring). Doki's was definitely the highlight, I haven't laughed that hard at an AMV in a looooong time. Kai's was my second-favorite - the effects in that segment were just so damn cool. And Oto's was fun as well.

Seriously, great idea, spectacular execution, if it weren't so long I'd be watching this a LOT. I LOVED it, the most innovative video I've seen in a helluva long time. I wish more people would do things like this.

5/5

From little random tidbits jasper semi-taunted me with for the past few months about this project, actually getting to watch the whole thing was pretty damn awesome. Besides the initial creep factor, I felt everything just came together nearly flawlessly. I keep wanting to watch this project straight through and it just feels like everything was done right, which is so impressive just because the audio is practically noise. Watching this is so...satisfying. Congrats on a great final result.

[and props to those who didn't overdo the static xD].

I think if I stop and try to figure out what I just watched, my brains would melt down and run out my ears.

I suspect that I know where the inspiration for that effect Kai Stromler used all over may have come from, though.

That was great. Being fond of Weird And Radical Projects, I really enjoyed this MEP :)

I actually enjoyed this. The sound didn't bother me at all, since I had years of experience listening to my dad's short wave and ham radios, trying to pick out the bits of sound/voice through the white noise.

More than a bit on the surreal side, but extremely interesting and well done. Props for the Magnetic Rose and Doki bits.

Yay, the local file is finally up. We should add Doki to the list of poopyheads for not approving that large file upload. :|

Now I shall actually download the final version, heh heh...

Thanks but you think that linkin park/chrono crusade particle screensaver video is vid of the year material so your taste is questionable....

This was bizarre. I know that it's awesome... I'm just not sure whether I hate it or not. o_O
Actually there's even worse tracks in The Conet Project, just none of us used them. One of the people who dropped out was going to use something I consider totally uneditable (I won't say who but I will note the project beta was titled 'trythil is a poopyhead'). As far as not knowing if you hate it or not, yeah, I kinda expected reactions similar to that.

Damn you dokidoki, if you were just a bit funnier he WOULD have spit corn dog bits all over his laptop.

One of the things I liked about FC's track was that he didn't have the cameras showing highlights of things. It was a random slice of life caught on camera type of thing. This must be what it's like to be a CCTV operator. But yeah, I can see how it could be viewed as boring.

Overuse static? Wonder who did that....

You say that like it would be a loss or something. I suggest you think about what you watched, life is so much simpler if you don't have a brain. Of course, I'm just going off what inthesto tells me his life is like.

Glad you liked it.

Kinda odd note, at one point I wanted the intro to be a young woman running across snow to a little shack in middle of nothing so she could sit down and play with her radio equipment. Didn't do that because the source doesn't exist for it but your comment reminded me of that.

How about my next project be Dedicated to Poopyheads and you can do a dokidoki segment?
Now I shall actually download the final version, heh heh...
Oh yeah, I suppose I should mention that Conet is now locally hosted but anyone who grabbed a copy from Minions server is ok, what's on local is exactly the same file. And thanks to minion for hosting it for the first few days.
