Sin will be finished, worry not. Can't lose my reason until I get a few more suppliesWarheart wrote:This reminds me of 'Viva la fucking france man'. Nice seizure video not my kind of music but nice fast paced stuff and it fits pretty good. So yeah very nice quickie but as mentioned aboive you need to focus on other more in depth projects like Sin City or play some fucking Oblivion to temoprary lose your reason dude.

I didn't want any effects in this one :p just wanted it to be about the show and the song itself, with nothing else. I like the audiotakes a lot as well >.>Warheart wrote:Hm, yeah and Parting Ways (*steals name*) is even better so I guess I should leave some feedback for that here as well. It's a bit rushed thus the effects are missing but I guess it still works for me since I love Snow Patrol and that song in particular, maybe just because of Kusoyaro but that doesn't really matter. The simple editing is pretty fitting and the audiotakes you used support the atmosphere quite good.
Thanks Mike. I too am awaiting the strobe haters.Minion wrote:great job on both, cal

Exactly the reaction I wanted. Trust me, try watching it in a dark room, at night, with the monitor as the only source of light. Fucking blinding.Janzki wrote:Dead Leaves =![]()

LOTS of shit exploded. And yeh, the Doctor Who video is very much based on the story arc between the two characters, so while you can understand what's generally going on, unless you've seen the show certain things aren't as apparent, and so it's less effective.Otohiko wrote:Video 1

Well I've never actually seen Dr. Who, so I'm sure a lot of the effect of it may have been lost on me, but as a drama/romance video that was actually really nice. Very well laid-out and sensible. Definite
Ha. Thanks Jannis. Glad to see I did The Distillers justice-Good for Nothing- wrote:dammit, this sure owns some ass. I absolutely love the distillers and yer editing was actually rapid enough to live up to the song cal

Yeah, it has that effect. I had planned on editing it in one sitting, but had to spread it out over a few because it was giving me a headache watching the flashiness. The Origonal Head Hunter wrote:as to the Dead Leaves vid- my eyes are bleeding now.
Thanks.Fizziks wrote:Nice work on both vids! They were very enjoyable.

The Dead Leaves video was...kinda meh to me. It was too mindless, I couldn't tell what was going on (which I assume was your intent). Also the sync didn't feel completely right in some places, though overall the editing wasn't bad. I give it 3/5, not really my style.
Now, the Doctor Who video, on the other hand...wow, that video kicked ass. It made me really want to watch Doctor Who. The video was INCREDIBLY emotional, the editing was awesome...I definitely enjoyed it a LOT

Didn't like Parting Ways, stopped it after like 1 minute. Mostly because a) I generally don't like LA videos too much and b) hate the song and band
You guys did that on purpose, didn't you?CrackTheSky wrote:The Dead Leaves video was...kinda meh to me. It was too mindless, I couldn't tell what was going on (which I assume was your intent). vid1: flashing stuffz & guitars :/
3/5
vid2: this was deffinately better. Never watched the show, but it looks like an interesting sci-fi one. I wish I had the time to check it out
Anyway, this one got me and the ending was very emotional
3.75/5 ~relative score, since it's the first one I've given to a liveaction video
