Personally I saw that more in the "no expression" scene. But I agree with you, it was only really in that one little section, though.

Liked it, didn't love it. This song is just becoming so overused, and even though it goes well with your theme, I've seen this song done better. Nice job though, 4/5.

I mentioned this in my op, but I liked the juxtaposition of the B&W (apathetic) vs color (surrealistic). Not sure if that's what you were going for, but that's what I got out of it.

That was an awesome op, I responded to it to hopefully make things a bit clearer for ya. And I agree, thought provoking vids > mind numbing effects/action.

(beside the point: who doesn't even have glasses) How is that artistic? Overall it was average. 3/5

the "distasteful" technique you mentioned was a necessity. If I let the clip run it's course it would look stupid, If I just froze it and left it like that, It would kill the flow. Thus freeze and zoom were used. You might think it's tacky, but it saves the overall flow to the video which allows, most viewers anyway, to just not care about it. And, I'm sorry, but If you want every clip to match up lyrically perfectly to be considered "artistic", then please mention before you post that you like to be spoon fed. If I went 100% lyrical match, then the video would have just been another gary jules video, instead of the thought provoking video that I consider it to be. All in all, thanks for watching

It's weird that people keep saying that, because not until after I released this video, I had only seen like 4 other videos to it. But like I said in a previous post, I didn't want to look for other videos when I decided to make this video. Thanks for watching

i got this vid a while ago (probably the day you announced) and even though the song is over used its an interesting take on it (ps. those are just the AMVs with the song, I've seen fanvideos to this song as well @_@... a really good House one too O.O)

anyways, i found some of the "slowed down" footage kinda jerkey, but other than that i thought it was a good video... the stills didnt bother me, infact i think that they were well used...

I have not seen this anime, but i dont think the message in this video is solely about the anime (or whats happening in the anime)... which i think is why i "get it" (im not trying to figure out the story of the anime)

anyways

intersting video... not easily rewatchable but still good
