Understandable that certain effects don't work as good as others with different people. I wanted to make sure the effects were of a similar theme but looked unique as well, but that might cause some to stand out more than others in a good or bad way.AphexTwin wrote:The music is great and the clip has a nice flow. Ironic you mention that because that sound really didn't stand out to me until I hit it with the sword scene. That really accented it and made it stand out from the other audio.Willen wrote:It was good until 1:17 with the (second) sword "clink" sound.
Then it got BETTER!

I agree. This was the first vid where my concept was concentrated more on following the beats and lyrics rather than making a flowing story out of them. But there are different kinds of action out there, so as long as it worked I ran with it.Knowname wrote:it never ceases to amaze me how utterly STORYLESS GOOD action videos can get away with!!
Thanks alot man. Glad the vid came through for ya. My main focus was making absolutely sure that the vid kept up with the pace of the song.Unlimited Rice wrote:When I was looking at the list of videos before I got my DVDs and saw this on the list.. Yeah you know I think this video is pretty shmexy. Seems less effects-y than your other stuff, and all the internal synch was awesome. It helps to show your range as an editor, so yeah, good stuffVNS wrote:( and congrats on the win, VNS all the way)
