Maybe it will improve after another viewing or two, if you still have it :O
JaddziaDax wrote: donno i think its pretty good story telling, and it had quite a few effective internal syncs imo...

damn i gotta see this movie
Glad you liked it. I hope the story hasn't been spoiled too much..

Thank you
Ingow wrote:holy shit that ending hit like hell, totally awesome
and wtf I saw LOTS of internal sync there, especially in all the parts where the song is building up. great scene selection pretty much through the entire video too, I think even I'm going to take a look at that movie now

I love you :O. One of the few people who really liked The Trouble, and now this comment!
hydrax wrote:Awesome. Great story telling
Thanks ^_^
Bakadeshi wrote:at first I thought this was boring...

then it picked up towards the middle and I thought this was pretty cool...

then the end hit me like a brick...

and then it all fell into place what you were trying to do with the video, and I thought it was brilliant.
Exactly the reaction I was going for (except the boring part). Thanks :o
AtomX wrote:I liked it :) A lot of it was really clever and the pacing was spot on. I thought the song fit well. So yeah. Solid video ^_^
Thank you ^_^
Dark-Krystal wrote:Awesome ! It's really the kind of video I Loved :P
Glad to hear it
Otohiko wrote:I still don't think it's fair to compare this video with AtomX's, since other than the footage they don't actually share that much in common. Personally I liked the composition of this one better - your editing was simple, but the concept was really strong (if linear) and you executed it effectively. Like Bakadeshi said, it had the 'hits you like a brick' moment that totally made it worthwhile and complete.
Wonderful job, 5/5 right there.
I agree, even with the overlapping scenes we ended up with distinct videos. I still think his is hawter 8-)
Thanks very much!

Oh wow. I'm actually torn between which has better storytelling, this one or Atom's. Really, this video is amazing - although I kinda knew where it was going based on the first few scenes, it still managed to hit me hard at the end. This is a superb video, the only problem I have is that I probably won't rewatch it as often as some other AMVs because I'm not quite partial to the song. Still...second best video I've seen all week ;)

5/5

That was great :)

I saw the movie a few days ago and your clip really appealed to me. Nice mood, nice flow, obviously a classic and great song.

Aw man, wish I'd seen this one first... then the ending wouldn't have been somewhat spoiled. :)

Very charming video. I liked it a lot. :D

Thanks for the nice words and thanks again for polevaulting my thread over the legions of kickass announcements on the first page :O

Yes, I think this video definitely benefits from not having seen the train parts before.
Thanks ^_^

I enjoyed it. A great song choice, good storytelling, and overall nice scene selection for the mood. I found myself more into the story than into the synch, which is a lovely change of pace.
