Feedback on cataloged Anime Music Videos

Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:

  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I thought it was brilliant. I've already watched it 4 times and I've only just downloaded it. Great choice of song also

I didn't notice any bad quality myself - I thought it was pretty great for the size. And the black borders didn't bother - in fact I really didn't pay any attention to them - I was too busy looking at all the pretty footage :D

I guess I’m like you Chiikaboom, not nitpicky quality wise. Hell I can enjoy a video with the Divx logo in the corner on and off all the way through and subtitles as long as the video's entertaining and I know the editors tried their best.



Anyway - my main point - brilliant!

So many great Haruhi videos are coming out. I think I'm going to overload from all the goodness, I really really do.

I'm always wary of downloading Haruhi videos partly in fear that it'll ruin the show for me with a crap product, 'tis why I waited to see what others thought of first before giving it a shot. And indeed you did not disappoint. Haruhi is satisfied... for now.

I think the video quality is passable enough for me to keep this video for a while yet. Good job.

I didn't notice the bad quality due to it's awsmness. That and I haven't watched many Haruhi vids. Good stuff.

yea, check me off for 'didn't notice (or rather don't care)' as well. In fact the one video I bothered to check, the fullscreen version without the black borders was BIGGER, by like 2 megs, than the widescreen version. Coarse that was only one video. I usually just rip them at their native resolution than only resize them keeping their aspect (I try not to even resize them...) so. But yeah, tell them 'it's an artistic decision, BUG OFF!' ;p

maybe a bit too much "shine" filter though. You abused it to death ;p


quality didn't bother me too much, I was too distracted by the fast paced awesomeness of the editing. Perhaps if you had those elusive 1280x720 HD raws I'd love to get my hands on, then it might have looked better ;p
