wasn't sure what you were gonna use the source for except that you were making a video for pro. Was thinking you were gonna make a comedy video about angsty anime ppls or something...

I'm not quite sure what I expected with this video. It was definately cool to see a change of pace from you, and the editing was definately solid. There were several moments where I felt the cuts were a little too hard, or sudden, but otherwise, damn good mood behind it. I don't always get into Drama vids all that well, but this one sucked me right in. So despite a few things that rubbed the wrong way, overall it was definately an incredibly strong ride.

Aqua! I really liked seeing a drama vid from you, seeing as basically all I've seen of yours is more geared towards comedy or horrorishness ^_^
and I have to say that you can defenitely pull it off. I don't know the actual story of the anime, but I picked up on the story that you seemed to be painting with your video, I dunno if they coencide or not :3
I agree there were a few clip changes that seemed fast, and I'm not all that big of a fan of the song, but I thought your editing was well done and that you accomplished what you were hoping to ^o^

There are two main girls, and they age over a three-year time jump. There's also a few scenes with the redhead's sister, though that angle was played down a bit. I can imagine it could be a bit confusing for someone completely new to the series.

Well, perhaps it's more dramatic or sentimental than romantic, but it's centered on a love story nonetheless.

The video is more or less the actual storyline, as seen from Haruka's point of view. So it's a bit biased towards that end. Also, some of the scenes were reconstructed to add or remove characters. Basically, it was to be able to better tell the story visually, and not so much to alter it.

Actually, I picked this version of the song because I found the vocals a bit easier to understand, and thought the faster pace might provide more in the way of beat-sync possibilities.
