Glad to see your editing too. I liked the video, well done, but it doesn't have a lot of rewatchability to me. The footage could have been cleaned up a little more, but maybe that's just nitpicking after watching Trythil's video.

Do you have any intention of uploading the last two video's in your profile? I really liked most of the other videos and was just wondering.

No, that's fine Orwell. I actually didn't do any cleanup to my source material; I don't feel comfortable tweaking around too much with that just yet.

The false-color portraits of the characters are probably too dirtied up. They were nice and clean before I threw a noise filter on them, and they ended up with what look like bad JPEG artifacts, even thought that's not the case.

Perhaps I hobbled my entry too much by placing it in the Drama category of the ACen contest instead of the Theme category. I wanted hat shot at Best in Show.

Trythil, thanks for the local download link. Now we just need the video's entry to show up.

I liked it, it made me want to watch Serenity. I say this because I have no Firefly DVDs.

I didn't have any problems with the portraits, the dirtyness fit well. I did notice that edges weren't that smooth. The text looked great, tho.

I'll be honest -- I've had everything in the planning stages for OS to Firely Theme, just haven't gotten around to making it yet (since I have another effects-intensive project in the works).

(btw, Rich ... other than a few of the titles being out of sync with the cursive overlays, on the whole a very good video.
