Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I needn't say more, I think. You guys have done an excellent job, and I've enjoyed it throughout. Technical? Yes. But eye-candy is what it needed, and eye-candy is what I got.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

It was pretty good, minus the somewhat rampant pedophilia :P
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

I just watched the x264 version. It really looked nice. For some reason the colors kind of stood out more especially the reds. Maybe it was just me. This was a really cool project. I am glad I got to help a bit. Everyone did a good job.

Yea I noticed that also, it seems that the H264 codec doesn't wash out the colors as much as Xvid does. Its all around a more advanced codec than mpeg4, which is why I hope the org picks it up as a standard soon ;p

I think you did a great job of coordinating and putting this project together, Bakadeshi. I'm really glad I was a part of it.

And for everyone who was on the project: fantastic job on your tracks. This is the first MEP ever were I actually enjoyed all of the tracks.

About time :D

It was awesome [insert good comments of other posters here] :P. One thing I noticed during watching the beta already is that comes across best with a really high volume. Especially the first song, Warheart, Kusoyaro and Niotex have so many synchups in their tracks, so if it is being watched in a moderate room volume you don't even hear all the sounds they synched to and it might come of dull :P
That's why I can't wait to know what it will be like to watch this at a con :)

The beginning section of my track has gotten a little washed out, propably due to the x264 internal denoisers. It's alright, though.

Excellent job to all participants, I can't decide for a favourite track, which is a very good thing I guess ;)
