Sounds more likely that it'd be "Monde" rather than "monte," in my opinion. Since "La Monde Young" would mean "The Young World" while "La Monte Young" would mean... well it wouldn't make much sense. "Monte" is part of the word "Monter;" or to get on or turn on.
