I enjoyed it alot, despite not even seeing the movie.

I wasn't feeling straight cuts so I decided to try something new. The movie isn't all that great. The animation is beautiful but the story is confusing as hell. I've seen it maybe 4 times now and I can't completely understand what the fuck is happening.
Cenit wrote:The song has some rough cuts in it but maybe thats from the original version. The scene selection seems for the most parts unenthusiastic. However the editing and the song/anime combination work great. Actually i really like this one. So in general good job!
Glad you liked it.

Hagaren Viper wrote:I couldn't really get into this one...the song is just SO peppy and bright and happy while the footage is mostly dark and people getting shot and committing suicide. I can see the theme you had going, but the two just didn't work well together in my opinion.
On the plus side, ooh-ooh-ooh

It happens but, the video aside, perhaps you could explain why you think the song is bright and happy. The tempo and sound of it is to a degree but it's not a happy song at all. My interpretation of the song is that it's about fear and anxiety. That feeling you get while you're having a nightmare and you can't get away. Everything feels slow. You can't run, you can't fight back: "Like punching in a dream, breathing life into the nightmare."
Anyway, appreciate the comment none-the-less
