  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

4 new AMVs (I love school holidays!)

Post by BronOne » Wed Oct 04, 2006 1:25 am

Have just finished work on 4 more amvs. Please take the time to have a look :D

Alucard's Tango - based on the Hellsing anime, set to the Tom Lehrer song Masochism Tango http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=130135

Almost Unreal - Howl's Moving Castle, a song for Sophie and Howl, from the Roxette song of the same name http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=130126

Heroes of Anime - made as a request for a freind who knows nothing about anime, shows of some of my favourites ( Scrapped Princess, Hellsing, Trigun, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist ) in action.

Ain't No Other Man - another request to the Christina Aguilera song, showing some of those cute anime boys ( Kakashi, Alucard, Vash, Wolfwood, Shannon Casull, Howl ) in action - the anime shown is also by request and excludes underage characters! http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=130139

ENJOY :)

Re: Ain't No Other Man

New bishonen! :P I may need to look up Scrapped Princess now.

Good spirit, got some laughs out of me, and I like the still pics you used. Capture was pretty bad - I didn't even watch it at fullscreen and I could see the fuzz and rough edges, interlacing, the works. You should look into virtualdub and filtering to clean up the footage before you make the vid - that way it won't go to hell when you compress it into a little wmv file. Action sync was random and loose, really needs work on breaking the song into sections and matching scene changes up with steady beats.

Editing wise, it's not very good, needs washed and tightened. Theme wise, I really like it. You mixed all sorts of cool scenes with absurd ones and anything with eyecandy I can laugh at is good in my book. Fun vid! ^^

thanks for the advice! I am trying to do the best with the software I have, so I will look into those you mentioned. Glad you like the storytelling aspect though, I think that's my strength!
