'Everything About Guu'-Otakon/Evolution 2005 Upbeat/Fun

I had hoped to have this up on Sunday and available, but I apparently fail at setting up video entries to be available when I want them to and it took until this morning to get it done right. Anyway, 'Everything About Guu' was my entry to Otakon & Anime Evolution's AMV contests this year, faring pretty much exactly the same in both contests- making the finals and then ending up Runner-Up in its category. I'd highly recommend checking out the two videos that won those categories as well- Scintilla's Waka Laka (For Osaka) and Doki's 'The Significance of Scenery' (when he makes it available for download) are both extremely fun videos. The other videos in the Upbeat/Fun categories are also well worth grabbing- there was a wide variety of styles and approaches that people took, which made for a very entertaining and diverse showing in my opinion.

That was great

I really loved some synchups, seemed like alot of scenes were predecided before editing.

Yeah, I had a lot of the scenes I wanted to use figured out before I got started on the actual editing because they just seemed like they'd fit so well (and in general I think did). I won't say how many of the scenes ended up being 'insta-syncs' as we've come to call them and will just claim they all took forever to get to sync up the way they did.
