Thanks for liking it. I used the effects at the begining because the music at the begining sounded like on old record popping. I wanted to give the video an old look feel. Perhaps I should have used black and white instead of faded color but then you couldn't see the transformation scene. I guess I could have enhanced the music so people could actually hear the record pops more. Oh well. ^_^

I used a quicktime effect. There were hairs and scratches but I suppose they were not dense enough. I was thinking it would have been better as well if I used an effect that made the footage jump a little bit like how they do with old silent films. Unfortunately I don't know how to do that yet. I still have much to learn.
