I hesitate to start an announcement this way, but this is my first AMV ever. I've gotten some very good feedback on it, and will improve the compression method for my future projects. The anime is .Hack//Sign, and the song is Out of Control by Hoobastank. I chose .hack for my first video because not many people had used it, but it would not have been my first choice otherwise. I kind of took the approach that before I just jump on the bandwagon and make the billionth NGE AMV, and probably make all my newbie mistakes in it, and thus curse all my future projects to obscurity for all time, I had better come out and try something that demonstrated a little careful reflection and research beforehand. Therefore, this is my attempt to earn your interest in my work.
The video is available on my website, http://www.kiskasca.net/, and I will be hosting AMV's there from other artists who agree to let me do so. I have unlimited server space and 30 Gb of monthly traffic, so I've created a page to showcase other artists work who have inspired me. Jared Presler of Enigmagic Studios has agreed to let me host a few of his videos on the site as well, so you can see some of his stuff there, along with others.
I hope you enjoy my first attempt. I tried to make it not look like a first attempt.
