  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Flashbacks - I wanted to separate those scenes from the flow of the video, and making them pale looks nasty amid dark space action scenes. It's modeled after my original fic - the lyrics are in a different 'timeline' from the chorus in some parts, so I needed something to distinguish that. I used pale clips for the first flashbacks (the Quatre/Trowa fight when they first met), and the tan clips for the next, and the slow section was like one giant move away from the rest of the video - so the pale dreamlike blue (plus tears - I was aiming for a glassy look for the lyrics there), and then the short lyrics mixed in with the action toward the end - I wanted something to break the flow so it would stand out as lyric sync and not random scenes set to the music, and the frames gave a flashback type 'separation' from the flow of the action - then jumping back into it before the next little partial story part.

Yeah, I guess it doesn't make much sense outside my own twisted head. ^_^; I should have done a vid fic instead of trying to make an amv to a songfic.

/me gets tonight
Heh, there *is* some lyric sync for plot, but it's all mixed and twisted around enough action that I don't think it stands out much. ^_^; I blame my love of the mecha in Gundam Wing - it's eyecandy as much as any bishonen is for me. And I'm all for eyecandy.

Do it!

^_^; Not that your vid wasn't good to begin with, but Wing Zero is my favorite Gundam after Deathscythe. If you decided to do another amv focusing on it, I'll be the first to watch. ^.^
Good video ari.

Duo lip syncing "I'mhere to stay" Excellent.
Glad you liked it. ^_^

It's always nice to know I'm not the only one who likes flashy action. ^.~ Especially mecha action vids.
