Hmm, I liked parts of this but it didn't feel like a cohesive piece to me. There were many places where the transitions between scenes from different anime were really jarring, either because of the difference in animation styles or because the motion from one scene to the next wasn't continuous (just noticed lloyd said this same thing, I promise I wrote this before reading his comment >_>). I also noticed a lot of use of anime OP/ED scenes...nothing wrong with this, but some of them were really out of place (the one that stood out most to me was the ef scenes starting around 2:15 -- the text flying around in the background just doesn't fit the mood or the aesthetic of the video as a whole and distracts from the emotions you're trying to convey). There were also some issues with differing aspect ratios here and there.

That said, when you got it right, it was awesome. The climax of this video is *chef's kiss* and I liked what you were trying to do throughout.

Haha, you are a hard man to please, but thanks for the honest review. I'm glad you got value out of the climax, which I agree is definitely the strongest part. The aspect ratio feedback is a little frustrating, because I am pretty greedy when it comes to clips, and it feels like such a petty reason to not use a clip because the aspect ratio is wrong. But maybe I have to compromise with reality just a little bit and stop using the ultra widescreen stuff next to normal clips - or perhaps figure out a way to frame the picture in picture. I usually just hope people don't notice, but it seems like people really do catch on and I should give up on just STREETTTCHING and hoping for the best.

The next AMV I'm making will be more cohesive, so hopefully you will enjoy that one more. Thanks again for taking the time to write a review.
