As I was making the video I felt extremely claustrophobic. Because of the down to earth nature of the song, it felt like I basically had to limit myself only to realistic slice of life clips. And let me tell you, there are a lot of boring slice of life clips out there! I kept at it, though, and in the end am pretty happy with how it came out. To date it's the only AMV I've made that my brother has actually liked, haha.

It seems to be a theme when I'm watching your videos that it takes a few moments of watching before I properly get into them. I can't really identify whether there's anything in the editing that causes this, in this video it's around the 1.20 mark where this video suddenly clicks and starts making sense.
Interesting that you say the editing process was claustrophobic. It feels like there is a lot of emotion in this video and it's trying to escape out into somewhere... I'm not quite sure how to describe it.
All in all, I really love this, it's very captivating.

This is probably the nicest thing anyone has said about any of my videos. Thanks a lot. The feeling you're describing of huge emotion trying to escape is exactly what I feel when I listen to the song, and what I wanted to go for in the video. I'm really happy that it achieved this for you!

I'm really in love with this video and I feel like trying to put that into more specific words right now would just be counterproductive. Katranat's description of emotion trying to escape from this video is probably the best way to describe it. It's very beautiful.
