Interesting AMV. I haven't watched this anime so some of your intent may be lost on me. I felt for a song like this you could have focused on syncing it more tightly to the beats in the song. There were parts where internal sync was fairly apparent, like 1:09 through 1:11, but overall I felt it could have emphasized the beats more.

Many of the most kinetic shots have a blurry, ghosting-like feel to them that makes the video feel sloppy and undercuts the work you put into it to make it look great. I think in Sony Vegas you have to "disable resampling" or something like that? I really don't know if that's the problem here or not, I'm just mentioning it because you mentioned that's what you edit with and sometimes that's the key to correcting the issue (or a similar problem, idk).

I enjoyed this overall. The only other video of yours that I've watched was the Van Halen one and this is miles better. There's some pretty excellent internal sync and lip sync throughout, and I also thought the visual rhythm of the video felt right on.
Also, seasons mentioned it but if you're using Vegas, make sure you set the resample mode to "Disable Resample" in your project properties. If you're using an older version of Vegas, you have to do this individually for each clip. Failing to do so creates a "ghosting" effect on any clips that you change the speed of.
I really very much appreciate all your input!
After hearing 3 of you make similar comments I went back and looked the video over again. Sure enough I did NOT have resampling disabled. Doing that really changed the video and threw timing off quite a bit. I normally render my videos and watch the output on my bigscreen as a way to look for phantoms and timing issues, but it seems that is not quote working as this is not the 1st time I have gotten feedback about not being synched though they are on my PC and TV. Hopefully this resamlping change will make it so I see what all of you are seeing (or not seeing)!
With that in Mind I went back, forced resample disable on the project and then went thru and fixed timing on quite a few scenes. I specifically went about it to only fix technical and timing errors from resampling, not change the content.
The Youtube link above and dB entry have both been updated to the new corrected video.
Let me know what you think and if it fixes some of the technical and timing issues!!

Also, I really hope you start to work outside of Haikyuu!! because I think you're limiting yourself. You're getting better with editing so I'm interested to see what you can do with other sources. Don't feel like you have to know an anime inside and out to edit with it -- just jump in and see what you can come up with.
But yeah, this video is a step in the right direction, looking forward to where you go from here!
I have done a couple SAO videos as well, go check out my channel or other posts here, I would like to hear your input on them as well!
I recently finished watching Yona and Shield Hero, so may do something with them as well. I have a Initial D one I have been thinking of doing, but there are already sooo many out there. I will consider other anime I do not "know" for sure, I just have found it hard to use an anime when I do not know anything about it. I have not been able to know where to go for scenes I am looking to put to music if that makes sense.
