Ah also pretty nice banner.

From you, I'll take that as a compliment.MycathatesyouAMV wrote:This video is tasty. It really makes me think of some kind of candy that could be eaten.
Thank you!Tearx wrote:Very nice visual compositions. Definitely keeping this in my AMV folder
Oh yes, definitely finish Penguindrum. Thank you very much for your kind words!MouseBollocks wrote:I was trying to keep myself from watching this, as I'm halfway through Penguindrum and didn't want to spoil myself, but I couldn't resist it. That was absolutely wonderful. On the visual side, your colouring and compositing was fantastic, and there were a large number of sequences that were absolutely jaw dropping, but moreover, I really like the way you presented the story and concept, and I thought the use of the prelude (Which, I'll admit, I was a little skeptical of at first) was basically the best use that it could have been. Really good job![]()
Now, I really need to get back to finishing Penguindrum...
Hehehehehe... >>Shin-AMV wrote:I fucking knew it. They said I was crazy, but I knew it. I'm not crazy.

It's true... when I watched Penguindrum, I was almost immediately convinced that I would have to make a video using it. I got the same feeling while watching Casshern SIns, so it's only fitting that this is the spirit successor to my Illusion video.TritioAFB wrote:dat overlay
It seems this is the kind of anime for you man, it's something irriadin will do
Thanks a lot! I was wondering how the video would be perceived... Honestly, it is more an extended metaphor / allegory than it is a story.. The prelude was added in late in the project, but I liked the additional dimension it added to the experience... That being said, I probably could make the "message" a bit less impenetrable (this is something I need to improve on.) All in all, it was a great learning experience for me, and I'm really happy that others are enjoying it as well!Bakadeshi wrote:I think the best word to sum this up is "smoooth"
Nice job on the technical and artistic aspects of the video. If there was a story to this though, without reading the prelude, and without seeing this series, it went over my headStill, the visual alone kept me watching till the end.
thats exactly how I felt! This video is so pretentious and awesome at the same time. I'm kinda jealous.VivifxAMV wrote: (Also digging how pretentious and artistic it is. You know how I feel about pretentious artisticness)

You did a great job Ryan! Although editing this type of vid definitely isn't my style, watching it made me want to step up my game a bit. I actually remember that the last time I felt this way was years ago when I first saw Chiikaboom's Bellicose AMV. You really raised the bar with this one!
