A Simple Man
This is the first Cowboy Bebop AMV I ever made. The song I used, Simple Man by Graham Nash I always thought would be great for the tragic love story between Spike and Julia, and when I discovered that the album Songs For Beginners was re-released on CD in 2011, I special ordered it at the store so happy to finally get to own a CD copy of it. Unfortunately, what I didn't know is that this version of the album was remixed, and I was really put off by that. I guess I'll have to try and hunt down the first CD issue sometime in the future, and if I do I'll probably replace the audio in this video with the original mix of the song, because it's supposed to sound like it does in this video that this guy uploaded of the vinyl record of the album playing:

But I digress. Since I haven't seen all the episodes and don't know the series that well other than the major characters like Spike, Faye, Jet, etc., and Spike & Julia's tragic love story, I tried to do the best I could to keep the more devoted fans of the series happy. I showed it to pacotacoshell, but he didn't like it (I respect his opinion though), but I also showed it to some of my friends before I went public with it (just like most of my other videos), many of which were bigger fans of the show, and they thought it was good, including my girlfriend who thought it was beautiful and that the song was perfect.
