It's been a while, but I certainly enjoyed making this~

It came about as a way of testing out the new FCPX and overall I think it's a very good program for AMVs. :awesome: I like to think the video is good as well

Glad to see the fcpx test went well. The video is quite enjoyable, I've already watched it 3 times. You've probably motivated me to finally sit down and watch Code Geass
I particularly liked the masking you did towards the end, it makes me want to experiment with the masking in fcpx now. Cool vid Kira_Douji.

I thought it was a nice video. Code Geass is hard to work with [in my opinion anyway], and it's one of my favorite anime, so I'm happy to see a good AMV with it.

I think the video lost some of its focus towards the middle when it began using more action/opening scenes, but picked back up with Orange-kun and Violetta. The concept at least anyway.

I also felt like the grunge and screen effects and shaking were unnecessary. It made the video hard to look at . Some moderation is always nice, and I'm usually one that enjoys good effects, but this one was just a tad overkill. I was also really disappointed with the opening of the video when I went back and watched it again. it really didn't provide a basis for the rest of the video to fall into.

It's something I'll add to my collection, but I'm not sure if others will share my enjoyment.

Didn't like the grunge, felt unnecessary. Other than that, it was good.

Felt a little random to me, and the overlayed backgrounds over the clips at points seemed kind of weird mixed in to me.
But pretty good anyways!

Hm, well I probably did add more layers than needed - I know I consciously did it towards the end just to make it meld with the beginning. As I said, a lot of that sort of thing was just to see how looked and interacted, etc...

CodeZTM - You mentioned coherency particularly with the introduction. I feel part of this most likely comes from painting in broad strokes as it were, but I'm wondering if you felt there was something in particularly I could have done with the introduction that would have been more... suitable?

Thanks everyone for taking a look - I appreciate the comments |:>
