A fairly simple video to the very under-edited Nausicaa movie. This is actually from November 2008, but my computer wouldn't let me compress it to H.264 until now...

Nausicaa being one of my favorite movies from Ghibli, I quite enjoyed this. /saves
And I like this song, even though I can;t understand a word they are saying. The mood and feeling of the song worked perfectly for the visuals of Nausicaa. Did you do any lyric syncing?
Nice simple clean editing, not really anything to complain about.

Wow, thank you! I didn't really expect anyone to like it very much, let alone not really having anything to complain about, especially since there's a couple of things I can complain about. You've made my day. :D

No, I didn't do any lyric syncing. I don't speak Japanese, and the translation was hard to find. I found it once, but wasn't smart enough to bookmark it and couldn't find it again. I do remember that the song has something to do with forests/nature though (which makes sense since it's the Origin theme song). So in a general way the lyrics work with Nausicaa.

The editing was nicely done, aurally. I listened very closely, but I admit the accent is pretty hard to cut through, but for what I did understand, I think you probably did have moment of unintentional lyric synch. Mostly what I understood had to do with feelings and the state of the heart.

Thank you! There's some backwards Japanese in it somewhere. That's probably part of why it was hard to understand. Unintentional synch is always fun to find ^_^.

I went looking for the translation and found part of it, not the whole song though. It actually does fit the anime really well. Here's what I found, for those that are interested. http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/agito/chouwaoto.htm

I think I think less of this video than a lot of other editors. :? That's interesting.
