Gunso Fire

Gunso Fire is an attempt to introduce Keroro Gunso to audience members who are not familiar with the yet to be U.S. release. Because of this editors limited resources of Keroro material, I had to use the Keroro movie instead.

Keroro in any case is a pioneer within the anime world, because of its satirical manner in tackling anime itself. Which is different than the parody of the anime genre such as Excel Saga. Gunso is probably one of the view Shonen anime that have more girl fans than boy fans. Its wit and satirical story-telling would probably be placed next to Azu Manga Daio in terms of pioneering anime "OUT" of the post-modern era.

The choice of Scooter's Fire is based on the climatic energy the song provides. It's beginning is slow and dark which immediately peaks to an energetic rhythm. The song dips low once again in the middle, and then up again, shaping the song's dynamics. Much like the anime of Keroro.

Please be as critical as possible if you plan on leaving an opinion. The quality of future projects will be much higher if reviewed hard core.

As for this creator's personal overall score on this vid: I rate it a 4.

for an xvid, it turned out very nice

and the music was almost as silly as the charactors ^_^

In any case, I would have to say the objective was achieved by that statement.

I attempted to capture the feel of the anime itself, hoping that the music alone would accomplish that.

The following is the lyrics to the song:

Bahahaha, that was awesome

I wish AMV-Review had done this one instead, I have a feeling the reception would have been much better. At any rate, this video was just pure fun - nothing more or less (in my eyes, anyway). Sync was awesome - really awesome - and the flow was really smooth and just about perfect throughout.

Two complaints mar the final score, however - one is that the aspect ratio was off throughout the entire video - you tried to make 16:9 footage 4:3 (or somesuch thing - I'm not very good when it comes to telling which aspect ratios are which). This is clearly evident before the video even really begins - your logo should be a circle (obviously, given the name of your studio), not an ellipse.

The other complaint I have is that the masking was kinda rough in some places, coulda been a little cleaner and better-looking.

Still, for a fun video this one excels, I give it 4/5

CTS, I'm pretty sure the video is set to 16:9 widescreen. I edited the vid in 16:9 and encoded at 16:9. Check your player settings and see if something goofy is going on. Which program do you use? VLC, Media Classic?

I even watched it in a regular Windows Media Player and it's still 16:9.
