Eureka Seven?
/gets the really big file
EDIT:

Ok, few AMVs get me choked up. Even fewer actually manage to get me teary-eyed. This, somehow, managed to do both. Maybe I'm just weak like that, but man, I can't describe how much I really FELT this video. Like...wow. I'm honestly at a loss for words here. The way you directed - yes, I'll go out on a limb and say 'directed' - this video truly astonished me. The scene selection and flow was absolutely brilliant. I'm prone to gush about AMVs I like (most people who frequent this forum have probably noticed that), but I'm not going to back down on this one.
However, as much as I liked the concept, flow, and scene selection, I REALLY didn't like the lip sync. It just looked bad and honestly took away form the overall mood of the video at times. And as much as I disliked that, I could stand it. What I absolutely cannot bear, however, was that damn text about halfway through. I mean, really, what would cause you to do that?! It just looks cheesy and...bad, and really, REALLY ruins the mood right there. I was honestly angry when I saw that pop up. It felt like you just trashed your own creation.
STILL, I managed to absolutely fall in love with this video, and it's probably the second-best E7 AMV I've ever seen, perhaps even best.
You get a full 5/5 from me, but still, you really should have fixed up some of those problems.

Wow, thanks for the feedback. I seriously am kicking myself for not posting it here before submitting.
You certainly broke it down for me. I passed the video on to probably about 10 people, only one of which said anything about the text. Deep down I kinda disliked it and felt it was just me getting over-ambitious in After Effects, but decided to keep it in as no one said anything. I now wish I had gone with my gut on that one.
On your comment about the lip synch, I have some reservations about that as well, but decided to keep it as-is, because I simply ran out of time.
On you positive feedback, I can only say that I really had a vision in my head on how I wanted to unfold the story with the song. I took a lot of work to sort through the ripped footage to find exactly what I was looking for, but I think in the end it really did flow nicely and have gotten many comments saying as such. As far as the emotional impact, I am glad it did its job.
The story of Eureka and Renton is an emotional one and really hit me when I watched the show. I always had something in the back of my mind that kept telling me I should make an AMV with it.
Oh, and your wish has come true, check your PMs.

Yes quite an interesting combination, I know, LOL. unfortunately I submitted it already because the deadline was last week. I wanted to keep working on it, clean it up even more, and maybe even tweak a couple things, but simply ran out of time.

I liked it.
I read your video description and saw you used the latest volumes of the dvd. I began to fear that someone would beat me to an awesome Ray and Charles profile video. I saw the beginning and it started out with Ray and I was like "noooo...", but then you didn't show her again. At all. To that I say: "?"
The lip sync (as stated) really took away from your video. Some of it was okay, others Holland looked like a fish. Still, in a video like this lip sync doesn't really have a place. Well, maybe I'm wrong, but it definitely didn't feel right in this video.
The text was... misplaced. "Eureka Seven"? Wait, what? During that climax? WTF! Stuff like that is something you'd see in an intro/outro, not the middle of your AMV, although the "Eureka" was kinda cool looking, "Seven" you must have run out of time on, white with black, come on!
Holland wasn't really doing a whole lot, just sorta standing there and crying (which is kinda unusual) while you resolved Eureka and Renton's story a little. Maybe I just didn't get it.
On the positive, you showed some of the many beautiful scenes in the show, and did an excellent job with the rest of the video. I could really feel it. It flowed well, and I have no complaints whatsoever about anything else. I guess thats positive, no? Besides, I think you've caught enough praise from crackthesky already.
Also, I know you said you sent it out to 10 people, but I've done that too. Nobody comes even close to being as helpful as the people here. My friends are all "heh, that part was cool, it was pretty good" and thats it. People here tend to take betas a little more seriously, and if you're going to be sending stuff to conventions its highly recommended you take advantage them. =D
Overall something I'll keep and probably show off to other E7 fans, but its still got some other stuff you can improve upon. 4/5 Nice work!
Oh, and @crackthesky: You're not weak, Eureka Seven is just that awesome.
